WHATTHE LIGHT?
If you’ve stumbled upon PHOTONTHEQUE for the first time and are wondering what the purpose of the site is, it’s pretty simple. This is a visual diary of my fascination for illuminated signs. After more than 4 years taking pictures during my travels, I’m bringing my collection of images to you.
As you can see, all the photos are categorized by theme and the type of lighting. Below, to get a better feel and understanding, is a description of each of these categories of light.
FLUO

A fluorescent lamp or tube is a low pressure mercury-vapor gas-discharge lamp that uses fluorescence to produce visible light.
LED
[led]
LED means light-emitting diode. It emits light by electroluminescence effect.
NEON
[nee-on]
A neon is a glass bulb or tube containing neon or other gases at low pressure that gives a colored glow when a voltage is applied.
